For those who want a little more from their bank, our Volunteer Club account offers a wide range of benefits for only an $8 membership fee per statement cycle – an incredible value, considering the hundreds, even thousands of dollars in benefits. For Family Insurance coverage, the monthly membership fee is only $10.
The minimum opening deposit is just $100 and there is no need to maintain a minimum balance to benefit from all of the Club Plus Checking special services listed above.
Will your opening deposit be $1,000 or more? If so, we suggest you put your money to work earning interest with our Interest Checking Account. Not only do you earn money on your deposits, our Interest Checking Account is also free if you maintain a balance of $1,000 or more. The service charge is only $10 if your balance drops below this amount during the statement cycle.
Designed to meet the needs of our customers who are 55 or older, the Volunteer Club 55 account offers more benefits than any other checking account at Volunteer State Bank and is our greatest value – PLUS it is an interest bearing account on daily balances of $500 and greater. The minimum opening deposit is only $100 and there is no monthly fee if you maintain a low $500 minimum balance. Below this level, the monthly fee is just $5. If you are in your prime years, this is the account for you.
For those who maintain higher balances in their checking accounts, the Premium Market Account is an option for extra earnings. Open an account with a $2,500 deposit and begin earning higher interest rates on your money -- the higher the balance, the greater the interest rates. Maintain a minimum $5,000 balance and we’ll waive the service charge of $15 per statement cycle. With a Premium Market Account, you can have up to six withdrawals per month. There is an excessive transaction fee of $10 for each withdrawal over six. You also receive your first order of personalized Premium Market checks free.
Volunteer Relationship Checking An Interest bearing checking account for customers who maintain large balances in related deposit accounts . The minimum opening deposit is $100. If you have $50,000 in combined daily deposit balances (Checking, Savings, Certificate of Deposit & IRA's) , the $20 monthly service charge is waived.
